Recently staff at Coles has raised $500 in favor of the volunteers at Norwest Markettown Cancer Council NSW. The donation was stated to be in remembrance of a member at the Coles, who lost their life to cancer.
The staff members have been reported to be running barbecues to raise funds for the cause. Figures revealed suggest that an estimated 300 people in Australia are diagnosed with cancer every day. Although it is difficult for all after being diagnosed of cancer, in case of low-income class, the troubles are more. They have no idea as to how to meet the treatment costs and at the same time look after the house expenses.
Statistical reports laid by Cancer Council NSW emphasized that a number of patienst suffering from the deadly disease and their families were unable to take care of the household expenses, they were not able to pay for bills.
However, due o the significant efforts put in by the Cancer Council NSW; there is a rise in the number of patients surviving from cancer.
