Date: Friday, September 14, 2012, 7:14am HSTP.F. Chang's China Bistro will close one of its two Hawaii locations, at the Hokua near Ward Centers in Honolulu, in December, and has offered all 68 employees jobs at the company's Waikiki location at Royal Hawaiian Center.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports the restaurant, which opened Sept. 12, 2006, will shut down after serving dinner on Dec. 9, and that 55 employees have said they will stay with the company, according to a spokeswoman for PFC Hawaii LLC, which characterizes the shutdown as a consolidation.
